A Journey Through Art
An illustrated publishing series
Exploring humanity through the objects it has created.
Mission
Each volume follows an idea rather than a civilisation
A Journey Through Art is a series of illustrated books exploring major themes in human experience through artworks and objects from across cultures and periods. Carefully selected works are brought together to reveal both shared questions and the very different ways societies have answered them.
The series is designed for readers who want to encounter art through ideas rather than chronology. Each book uses individual works as points of entry into larger questions about belief, identity, memory, power and the ways people have understood the world around them.
